    CUSTOM REPORT OPTIONS
MineSearch can generate reports on a single project or on a group of projects in a variety of report formats. For example, a report can include reserves, operating costs, and capital costs for all the projects that match your search criteria.

    CUSTOM DOWNLOADS
With MineSearch, key information from 87 downloadable fields—from any list of projects—can be downloaded and used in any spreadsheet or database application. This gives you the ability to analyze the data, calculate aggregate numbers, customize reports, and augment your in-house databases.

    PROJECT SEARCH
MineSearch will quickly find the project or group of projects that meet your criteria. MineSearch’s iterative searching method makes it easy to narrow or broaden search criteria. Projects that meet the search criteria can be viewed at any time.

    MAPPING
The result of any MineSearch query can be displayed as a map, where projects are represented by symbols that show status, level of activity, primary commodity, and in-situ value.

Maps can be saved and used in presentations and reports. Maps can display brief project descriptions or link to the full project report. Maps include political boundaries, rivers, lakes, roads, airports, cities, and towns.

    NEWS
The News List button allows you to generate a list of news items that are linked to the projects that match your search criteria. This means that you can search for news on specific types of projects.

For example, to see news on African platinum projects, select “Africa” from the region list and “platinum” from the primary metals list. To narrow the list to just news on producing platinum projects in Africa, select “production” from the project status list.

For a specific project, the News button shows all news linked to that project. Selecting the headline displays the full text of the news article.

All relevant press releases are linked to each project within 24 hours.

    MINESEARCH UPDATE LIST
Since new information is continually being entered, an update page displays what’s new. The page provides a list of updated projects (with information on primary owner, location, metal), along with a brief synopsis or headline.

    SAVED SEARCHES/ALERTS AND EMAIL NOTIFICATION
The Saved Searches/Alerts feature saves specific sets of search criteria, which can be executed during a future MineSearch session. For example, if you would like to view the news on all worldwide gold mines and projects on a daily basis, simply save a search for gold and execute it when you log on to MineSearch.

This feature monitors the results of your saved searches on a daily basis and sends an email when

    • News has been linked to the projects in the results list,
    • Projects in the results list have been updated,
    • Projects have been added to the results list, or
    • Projects are no longer included in the results list.

Saved Searches/Alerts and Email Notification are specific to individual MineSearch accounts (your ID and Password).

    SAVED LIST
The Saved List feature maintains and tracks a list of specific projects. The list can be built by adding one project at a time or from the results of a search and then adding or deleting projects. The list can be used to

    • View the current news and data on each project in the list,
    • Generate reports on all the projects in the list, or
    • Download up-to-date information on these projects into a spreadsheet or database for further analysis.

By accessing a list of projects set up through the Saved List feature, the news can be reviewed quickly for a specific category of projects.
